After some arguments, Mr Jagtiani states that the present Interim Applications will be pressed as applications for interim relief under Section 17 before the Arbitral Tribunal. I note that the hearings before the Arbitral Tribunal concluded on 28th November 2020, and an award is awaited. The Tribunal is, therefore, not yet functus. 3.
This order is necessary in view of the provisions, inter alia, of Section 9(3) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. 4.
All contentions before the arbitral tribunal are kept open. 5.
Both Interim Applications are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
