The learned counsel appearing for the Mumbai Municipal Corporation on instructions states that out of seven structures, the concerned officer after scrutiny of documents has found the petitioner eligible for allotment of alternate accommodation as per the policy of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation in respect of the four structures and accordingly, the said four cases are being placed before the Appropriate Authority of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. On instructions, she further states that as regards the three other structures, the scrutiny of documents is in progress. She states that case of the petitioner for eligibility and grant of alternate accommodation in respect of the said

wp-1788.17.odt structures will be decided within a period of three months from today. We accept the said statement.

Accordingly, We direct the Mumbai Municipal Corporation to take appropriate decision in terms of the above statement within a period of three months from today and communicate the decision to the petitioner.

All contentions on merits are kept open. The Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
