Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short, "the Act") whereby the petitioner has prayed for extension of mandate of the arbitral tribunal for a period of six months to conclude the arbitral proceedings and publish an award. It is stated that petitioner has filed his evidence and also served a copy of the same on the respondent. It is accordingly prayed that mandate of the arbitral tribunal be further extended by a period of 6 months from today.

Learned Counsel for the respondent No.1 has no objection for grant of the prayers as made in the petition.

Having heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and having perused the averments as made in the petition, it would be in the interest of justice that extension is granted to the mandate of the arbitral tribunal so that the arbitral proceedings are concluded and award is published. In the circumstances, time to conclude the arbitral proceedings and pronounce an award is extended for a further period of 6 months from today.
