The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a male minor, Suraj, who was born on 9th June 2014. He was found abandoned. He was produced before the Child Welfare Committee on 19th December 2016. Safe custody was given to the Petitioner on 23rd April 2017. Subsequently, on 7th December 2017, Suraj was declared legally free for adoption following the necessary enquiries and procedures.

The proposed adoptive parents Chaithanya Kumar M and Suma Chaithanya Kumar are Indians who reside in Kamothe, Navi 6th June 2018
902-IAP49-18.DOC Mumbai. They are 48 and 42 years old respectively. They have been married for the past 14 years but have no children of their own. 3.
I have considered the Petition with its annexures. The father works as a Manager Technical with Castezee Manufacturers, MIDC Ambernath and has a gross monthly salary of Rs.50,000/-. The adoptive mother is a home maker.

Their health reports, the home study report and the child care report as also the assessment by the social workers are satisfactory and in order. The necessary Affidavits and declarations are on file.

I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare which is on record.

There is no reason to refuse the relief. I will allow the Petition. The Judge's Order is separately signed. (G. S. PATEL, J) 6th June 2018
