By the above Writ Petition, the Petitioner seeks directions against the State of Maharashtra, Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai as well as the police authority to allow the Petitioner to carry on his business of selling tea, coffee and biscuit from the suit premises viz.

'Om Tea Centre' stall admeasuring 3 x 4 situated at 12/14 Dhanji Street, Opp. Laxman Silver Palace, Mumbai - 400 003 and hold that the Petitioner is an eligible and protected street vendor under the provisions of Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014; 2.

Admittedly, the Petitioner has no valid license in his favour to sell the aforesaid food items from the aforesaid premises. The Writ Petition is therefore, dismissed.
