By the above Writ Petition, the Petitioner seeks directions against the State of Maharashtra, Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai as well as the police authority to allow the Petitioner to carry on his business of selling Pav Bhaji, Tawa Pulav and Papad/masala Papad from the four wheeler cart admeasuring 4 x 6 at 1 st Bhoiwada, Keeka Street, Gulal Wadi Corner, Mumbai - 400 004 and hold that the Petitioner is an eligible and protected street vendor under the provisions of Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014; 2.

Admittedly, the Petitioner has no valid license in his favour to sell the aforesaid food items by parking his four wheeler cart on the road. The Writ Petition is therefore, dismissed.
