The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption by a couple resident in Pune, aged 38 and 40 years of a female minor, Kalika, born on 8th November 2017. Kalika's mother surrendered her to the Child Welfare Committee on 18th December 2017. The Applicant Institution received custody of the minor on that day. 2.

Kalika has been declared legally free for adoption by the Child Welfare Committee.

The proposed adoptive parents reside in Dhanori, Pune. They have been married for 10 years but have no children of their own.

The Adoption Committee has approved the adoption. There is a motivation letter from the adoptive parents. The health reports of the parents are in order. The adoptive father works as a Senior Manager with State Street Corporate Services Mumbai Private Limited at Bandra Kurla Complex. His monthly salary is Rs.1,27,977/-. The adoptive mother works as a Cash Officer with CitiBank Pune since March 2014 at a gross monthly salary of Rs.74,595/-. The papers indicate that the adoptive father travels to Mumbai for his work and returns to Pune every weekend. The Home Study Report is in order and the assessment report of the Social Worker is positive. It notes the support from the family and relatives of their decision to adopt. The Child Security Undertaking is also on record.

Kalika's medical report is positive. She is a healthy and active child. The pre-adoption foster care undertaking is also on record. I have seen too the Scrutiny Report of Mr Hareendran. 6.

The Petition deserves to be allowed. The Judge's Order is separately signed.

The Registry will get the Petition with all its annexures and all orders, including the signed Judge's Order, scanned. These digital copies are to be preserved. A soft copy may be given to the Advocate

for the Petitioner free of cost on a pen drive provided by the Advocate for the Petitioner for the same. The Registry will ensure that the scan of the Judge's Order is a properly calibrated colour scan.
