The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a female minor, Pari. She was born on 28th November 2017. The biological mother surrendered her to the Child Welfare committee, Mumbai Suburban. The Applicant Institution received custody on 5th January 2018. the 2.
Child Welfare Committee has declared Pari legally free for adoption as on 23rd March 2018.

The adoptive parents reside at Trichy, Tamil Nadu. They are permanent residents of Bengalore. They are 48 and 42 years old
respectively and they have been married for the last 17 years but have no biological children of their own. The motivation letter is on record.

The decision of the adoption committee approving the proposal is on record as is the Affidavit on behalf of the specialised adoption agency, viz., the Applicant institution. 5.
The adoptive father works as a Senior Manager with HDFC Bank, Trichy since 16th September 2017 and his monthly gross salary is Rs.1,06,740/-. The adoptive mother is a freelancer and earns about Rs.1,50,000/- per annum.

The health reports of the parents and of the minor are positive and show no medical conditions.

The Home Study Report is positive. The assessment report of the social worker states that the parents are able to care for the minor and have the necessary financial means. There is a Child Security undertaking given by the adoptive mother's sister and brother-in-law who live in Bangalore agreeing to look after the minor should the need arise.

The consent willingness and undertaking documents are also on record as is pre-adoption foster care undertaking.

I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare which is on record.
10. The Petition is allowed. The Judge's Order is separately signed.
11. The Registry will get the Petition with all its annexures and all orders, including the signed Judge's Order, scanned. These digital copies are to be preserved. A soft copy may be given to the Advocate for the Petitioner free of cost on a pen drive provided by the Advocate for the Petitioner for the same. The Registry will ensure that the scan of the Judge's Order is a properly calibrated colour scan.
