It is stated in the affidavit in support of the chamber summons that the defendant's advocates vide a letter dated 16th April, 2015 informed the plaintiffs' advocates about the death of the defendant. This chamber summons has been lodged on 8th June, 2015 and the same is within time. The respondents though served are not Gauri Gaekwad

Therefore, the chamber summons is allowed and accordingly disposed of in terms of prayer clause - (a). The amendments to be carried out and copy of the amended plaint to be served within two weeks from today. The respondents, who are being joined as defendant nos.1(a) and 1(b) to file their written statement and serve a copy thereof within four weeks of receiving a copy of the amended plaint.
