We are informed that the Additional Commissioner, Prohibition & State Excise has given hearing to the Petitioner and the matter is closed for orders. In this view of the matter, petition has become infructuous. However, we direct the Additional Commissioner, Prohibition & State Excise to dispose of the matter, as expeditiously as possible, by passing a reasoned order, on merits and in accordance with law, within four weeks. Writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
