The learned counsel for the Petitioners submitted that having taken over all view of the matter it would be appropriate if the proceedings under show cause are disposed of within a stipulated time and all contentions of the Petitioners are kept open.

The learned Senior Advocate for the Respondents, on instructions, states that the proceedings will be disposed of within a period of 2 months from the date the Petitioners appear before the authorities. The Petitioners will appear before the Respondents on 16 March 2020.

The Petitioners will be entitled to inspect the documents which are marked as annexures to the show cause notice and also to receive the copies thereof, the Petitioners will make a request to that effect to the Respondents. Thereafter, the Petitioners are entitled to file their reply-affidavits within a period of 4 weeks. After this period, the final order will be passed by the Respondents within a period of 8 weeks.

The learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that a direction be given that if the Petitioners upon adjudication, pay the sum determined, the Respondents should lift the attachment.
