DATE :
27th JUNE, 2019 P.C.:
1.
Heard learned Counsel for the parties.
2.
This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short, "the Act") whereby the petitioner has prayed for extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal for a period of one month to complete the arbitral proceedings and publish an award. Learned Counsel for the respondents has no objection for the prayers as made in the petition. It is stated that final arguments of the parties are heard by the arbitral tribunal. Earlier one extension was granted by the Court. Final extension is required to be granted. 3.
In the above circumstances, it is in the interest of justice that the petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) which reads thus:- (a) This Hon'ble Court be pleased to extend the time period by further one month for completing the arbitration proceedings and for making of the Award."
4.
The petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs. [G.S. KULKARNI, J.] corrected as per speaking to minutes to the order dated 10.07.2019.
