Heard the learned senior counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents. The learned senior counsel for the petitioner on instructions states that the petitioners are pressing for a very limited relief. He pointed out that the representations/applications at Exhibits M and O have been kept pending by the Municipal Corporation for a considerably long time. He seeks a direction to the Municipal Corporation to dispose of the said applications.

Though the learned counsel for the respondents seeks time to file a reply, considering the fact that a very limited relief is pressed, we dispose of

oswpl1685 the petition by passing the following order:

(I) We direct the Mumbai Municipal Corporation to decide the applications dated 14th October 2014 and 27th January 2015 (Exhibits M and O respectively) as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within a period of six weeks from today;

(II) All contentions on merits are kept open;

(III) Parties to act upon an authenticated copy of this order.
