This writ petition challenges an order passed by the competent authority under the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971 in the matter of eligibility of the Petitioner as a slum dweller. Since the Petitioner has an alternative remedy of an appeal before the Apex Grievance Redressal Committee, learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the Redressal Committee in appeal. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to the Petitioner to approach the Apex Grievance Redressal Committee in an appeal under Section 35(1)(a) of the Slum Act, for a fresh hearing in Pg 1 of 2
