Learned counsel for the petitioner states that her client has addressed a letter dated 23rd March 2017 to this Court seeking permission to withdraw this petition on payment of Rs.87,752/- in full and final settlement of all his dues. The petitioner hands over the said letter dated 23rd March 2017 to this Court and confirms that he seeks to withdraw this petition if a sum of Rs.87,752/- is paid to him. 2.

Mr.Pai, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, states that the amount of Rs.87,752/- would be paid to the petitioner by the respondents within two weeks from today. Statement is accepted.

The said letter dated 23rd March 2017 is taken on record. Writ petition is allowed to be withdrawn on the condition that the payment of Rs.87,752/- is made by the respondents within two weeks from today. Rule is discharged. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. No order as to costs.
