Mr. Sakhare, learned senior advocate appearing for the Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (MMRDA) and its Commissioner (respondents 1 and 2) submits, on instructions, that the impugned notice dated 14th July 2021 issued under section 249 of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, 1888 has been withdrawn and that henceforth appropriate steps would be taken in

3.wp.2239-21 accordance with law.

In view of the withdrawal of the impugned notice, nothing survives for decision on this writ petition. The same stands disposed of. No costs.

If at all the petitioner feels aggrieved by any further action of the MMRDA, it shall be free to explore its remedy in accordance with law.
