Perused report of the Official Liquidator. Heard the Official Liquidator. The report seeks permission to file an appeal against the assessment order and notice of penalty issued against the company in liquidation. The report also seeks an appointment of a Chartered Accountant for filing and arguing the appeal. Mr Bhawar Jain, ex-director of the company in liquidation has also addressed a communication to the Official Liquidator that he would deposit professional fees to be paid to the Chartered Accountant for representing the company in liquidation in the proposed appeal. The report is allowed in terms of prayer clauses (a), (b) and (c) and is disposed of accordingly. It is needless to add that the instructions for prosecution of the appeal shall be given by the Official Liquidator.
