This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India prays for a direction to the Passport Authorities to return the petitioner's passport, impounded by them.

When this writ petition was placed before us today, on instructions of the Deputy Passport Officer from the Regional

We direct that it should be released and returned to the petitioner on or before 8-8-2019. The writ petition is disposed of with this direction. There will be no order as to costs.
