We are informed that the Petitioner has an alternate remedy of approaching the Special Court under section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act. The Petitioner, therefore, can exhaust an alternate remedy which his available to him.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. The Petitioner shall file his appeal/application under section 135 of the said Act within four weeks. Till that time his electricity supply may not be disconnected. The Petitioner may seek further interim relief before the Special Court. The Special Court may decide the amount which has to be deposited by the Petitioner.
