This is a petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act. The order appointing the arbitrator was passed on 15 th December, 2016. Thereafter the reply to the counter claim on behalf of the respondent was filed on 22 nd April, 2017. Issues have since been framed. The recording of evidence of the petitioner's witness has been completed and the respondent's only witness is presently under cross examination.

Mr. Mody states that the cross examination of the respondent witness will be completed within a period of four weeks from today. In view of the aforesaid, time to complete arbitral proceedings is extended by a period of four months from today. No further extension will be granted. Petition disposed as above. (A.K. MENON, J.)
