1.
The grievance of the Petitioners is that though their structure is situated on Salt Pan land, the SRA has granted LOI to Respondent No. 1 Developer. In support of the said submission, Petitioners relied on letter issued by the Salt Commissioner (Respondent No. 8) in which it is stated that this is a Salt Pan land. It is submitted that the Salt Commissioner is a party-respondent, and he 1 / 2
WPL. 1748-15 has not filed the reply.
2.
On the other hand, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the SRA has invited our attention to the order of the High Power Committee. It is submitted that all contentions raised by the Petitioners were considered and rejected. Secondly, it is admitted that at no point of time the Salt Commissioner has raised objection before the SRA or taken out any proceeding challenging the LOI granted in favour of the Developer. We find no reason to interfere with the impugned order passed by the SRA. Hence, writ petition is dismissed. Sd/- Sd/- [B. P. COLABAWALLA, J.] [V. M. KANADE, J.] Vinayak Halemath 2 / 2
