CORAM : RANJIT MORE & DR. SHALINI PHANSALKAR-JOSHI, J.J.

DATE : 13 TH APRIL 2016.

P.C. :

1.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner. None appears for the Respondents, despite service.

2.

The short grievance of the Petitioner seems to be that he has not been paid salary though approval has been granted to his appointment by the Education Department. The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the School in which the Petitioner is serving is an Aided School and representation making grievance of non-payment of salary has already been made to Respondent No.5-Education Officer on 7th July 2014. However, the said representation is also not yet decided. 3.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that Respondent No.51/2 WP-2272-14.doc

Education Officer be directed to decide the representation of the Petitioner dated 7th July 2014.

4.

In the above circumstances, we deem it convenient to dispose of this Petition by directing Respondent No.5-Education Officer to dispose of the Petitioner's representation dated 7th July 2014, copy of which is annexed at Exhibit-G, Page No.37 to this Petition, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Ordered accordingly.

5.

It is expressly made clear that we have not gone into the merits of the Petitioner's claim and Respondent No.5-Education Officer shall decide the Petitioner's claim independently in accordance with law. [DR. SHALINI PHANSALKAR-JOSHI, J.] [RANJIT MORE, J.] 2/2 WP-2272-14.doc
