The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a female minor, Savni. She was born on 9th January 2018. Her biological mother surrendered her to the Child Welfare Committee, Mumbai Suburban District on 22nd January 2018. The Applicant institution was given custody on that date.

The minor has been declared legally free for adoption after following the necessary procedures.

The adoptive parents reside in Bangalore. They are 43 and 45 years old respectively. They have been married for 10 years but have no child of their own.

The health reports and minors are positive. There are no negative HIV reports.

The adoptive father works in the private limited company in Bangalore with monthly gross salary of Rs.2 lakhs. The adoptive mother is a home maker. The other documents are in order. 6.

The assessment report of the social worker recommends the adoption. There is also child security undertaking. 7.

I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare which is on record.

In view of this the Petition is allowed and the Judge's Order is separately signed.

The Registry will get the Petition with all its annexures and all orders, including the signed Judge's Order, scanned. These digital copies are to be preserved. A soft copy may be given to the Advocate for the Petitioner free of cost on a pen drive provided by the Advocate for the Petitioner for the same. The Registry will ensure that the scan of the Judge's Order is a properly calibrated colour scan.
