The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a female minor, Tapsya, born on 10th November 2017. She was admitted to the Petitioner institution Shraddhanand Mahilashram on 13th November 2017 as per the safe custody memo of the Child Welfare Committee. She has been declared legally free for adoption following the required procedures.

The adoptive parents are from Amravati. They are 48 and 45 years old respectively. Though married for the last 10 years, they have no children of their own.

The health reports of the minor and the adoptive parents are both positive and the HIV reports are negative. 4.

The adoptive father is an assistant teacher in Malegaon with a monthly salary over Rs.50,000/-. The mother works as a junior library clerk in a Amravati with a net monthly salary of Rs.18,252/-. 5.

The other documents are in order.

The assessment report of the social worker from Jalna is on record and recommends the adoption.

There is a child security undertaking from the adoptive mother's brother and sister-in-law who also lived in Amravati. 8.

I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare which is on record.

Having regard to these circumstances, I will allow the Petition, but will reduce the investment amount to Rs.75,000/-. The Judge's Order is separately signed.

10. The Registry will get the Petition with all its annexures and all orders, including the signed Judge's Order, scanned. These digital copies are to be preserved. A soft copy may be given to the Advocate for the Petitioner free of cost on a pen drive provided by the Advocate for the Petitioner for the same. The Registry will ensure

that the scan of the Judge's Order is a properly calibrated colour scan.
