This Court after hearing the parties at length on 12th July, 2019 had rejected protection to the petitioner Afcon Infrastructure Ltd. while granting ad-interim reliefs in both the petitions fled by the respondents Halani International Limited in terms of prayer clauses (a) and (g). The only prayer as made in these Petitions is for direction to respondent No.1 Halani International Limited to extend the validity of the Counter Guarantee as prayed for in both these petitions.

The two petitions fled by the respondents (Com.Arb.Petition (l) nos.731 of 2019 and 732 of 2019) are also disposed of today by a separate order, in terms of the order dated 12 July 2019 passed by this Court.

In view of the order passed on 12th July, 2019, the petitioner cannot be granted any reliefs. Accordingly, the petitions are disposed of keeping all contentions of parties open in regard to any other contractual disputes.
