DATED: 21st July, 2017.
FINAL ORDER 1.
The Petitioner herein has sought to challenge the impugned order passed by the Deputy Collector (E.S.), / C.E.O (Respondent No.2), on 16th June, 2017, Slum Rehabilitation Authority (Respondent No.1).
2.
The Petition was filed before this Court mainly on the ground that the High Power Committee was not sitting and that Apex Grievance Committee was not yet made functional. A statement is made before us that the Apex Grievances Redresssal Committee has 1 /3
been made functional from today. The Petitioner has also submitted that Appeal No.3 of 2017 was already filed before High Power Committee and now that the Apex Grievance Committee is made functional, the same would be transferred to Apex Grievances Redresssal Committee.
3. In view of the fact that the Appeal filed by the Petitioner is pending with Respondent No.6 and that the same would now stand transferred to the Apex Grievances Redresssal Committee, which is now functional, we direct the parties to appear before the Apex Grievances Redresssal Committee to pursue the remedies available under the law.
4. It is stated that Apex Grievances Redresssal Committee sits only twice a month. Considering this fact and the urgency in the matter we grant interim relief in terms of prayer Clause 'c' for a limited period of four weeks, so as to enable the Petitioner to approach the Apex Grievances Redresssal Committee and seek further relief. Apex Grievances Redresssal Committee, shall hear the parties on interim relief and deal with the same in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

5. All points and contentions are kept open. It is made clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter. Apex Grievances Redresssal Committee shall decide the appeal on its own merits and in accordance with the law. The Writ Petition and Notice of Motions if any, stand disposed of. No costs.
