Heard. The Petitioner is the mother of two children, namely, Ms. Pingala Chira Ranjan and Master Ritwik Chira Ranjan. The Petition is for appointment of the Petitioner as the natural guardian of the two children in Petition (L) No. 1209 of 2014. The daughter Pingala turned 18 on 1st April 2015 and the prayer therefore survives only in respect of the minor son.

For the reasons set out in the Miscellaneous Petition, the Miscellaneous Petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a) but only in respect of Master Ritwik Chira Ranjan.

Leave to amend to add the daughter who has now attained majority as a co-Petitioner in the main petition as well as to carry out all consequences changes.
