The Petition was accepted on 3rd November 2017. There is an Affidavit of Service. None has come forward. 2.

The Petitioner seeks a Legal Heirship Certificate under Section 2 of Bombay Regulation VIII of 1827 in respect of one Draupadi Pandu More, who is said to have died intestate in Mumbai, where she was ordinarily resident, on 20th November 1998. A copy of her death certificate is annexed. 3.

During her lifetime, Draupadi More lived at 4/39, Gautam Nagar, Dadasaheb Phalke Road, Near Ranjit Studio, Naigaon (Dadar), Mumbai 400 014.

Paragraph 4 of the Petition says that the deceased was survived by her three daughters and two sons. Their names are mentioned in the tabulation below paragraph 4 of the petition. The youngest son Arvind Pandu More is the Petitioner. The three daughters Manisha, Shobha and Anita have consented. Service has been effected on the elder son, Kashinath Pandu More but he has not come forward to oppose.

The Petitioner states that during her lifetime, the deceased worked with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai as a sweeper. The Legal Heirship Certificate is required for the purposes of applying for a job with the Municipal Corporation on compassionate ground.

No other Petition for a heirship certificate, succession certificate, probate or letters of administration with or without will annexed has been filed. There is no impediment to the grant of relief.

The petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a). 8.

Issuance of legal heirship certificate is expedited. 9.
