This arbitration petition challenges award of interest in the impugned award. Learned Counsel for the parties are heard. At their request, the arbitration petition is admitted and taken up for hearing forthwith. Learned Counsel for the parties request the Court to dispose of the arbitration petition without stating any reasons for the order. The impugned award dated 28 March 2018 is, accordingly, varied by reducing the rate of interest granted under Claim No.4 from 18% per annum to 12% per annum of the total claim since the date of the arbitration notice.
