The Petitioner seeks a Legal Heirship Certificate under Section 2 of Bombay Regulation VIII of 1827 in respect of one Carmen Felix Coutinho alias Tertuliana Gloriana Dalgado, who is said to have died intestate in Goa, on 5th October 2015. A copy of her death certificate is annexed. During her lifetime, the deceased was ordinarily resident in Mumbai.

The deceased was survived by five heirs. Their names are mentioned in the tabulation below paragraph 5 of the petition. The nephew is the Petitioner. The deceased has no children. 4.
The Heirship Certificate is required in regard to the S.R.A. scheme at K.M. Colony, 13th Road, Dr. Ambedkar Road, Khar (West).

All the heirs have consented. No other Petition for a heirship certificate, succession certificate, probate or letters of administration with or without will annexed has been filed. There is no impediment to the grant of relief.

The petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a). 7.
