As set out in the order dated 31st August 2016, it is Defendants Nos. 4 and 5 who purported to transfer certain rights in the film Akhree Rasta to Defendants Nos. 1 and 2. Where and from whom Defendants Nos. 4 and 5 got these rights has never been 16th November 2016

918-NMCD59-16.DOC explained. The Plaintiffs, on the other hand, have been able to demonstrate that they acquired their rights directly from the products of the film in question.

None appears for Defendants Nos. 4 and 5. For the reasons set out in the order dated 31st August 2016, the Notice of Motion is made absolute in terms of prayer clauses (a), (b) and (b-ii). The previous orders granting ad-interim reliefs in these terms are now confirmed.
