By this writ petition, the petitioner challenges the exparte Award dated 27/11/2008.

The learned counsel for the respondent raises a preliminary objection to the tenability of the writ petition. It is stated that without availing appropriate remedy, petitioner has filed the petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for challenging the Award.
