The above Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioner seeking directions against the Municipal Corporation to act on the notices issued by Slum Rehabilitation Authority dated 21.4.2016 and 23.5.2017. The learned Advocate for the Municipal Corporation, on instructions, states that after serving the notices on the person in occupation under Section 3(e) of the Maharashtra Slum (Improvement, Removal and Redevelopment) Act, 1971, an order was passed directing his eviction on 9.1.2020. The occupant of the premises has filed an appeal before the Additional Collector and an order of stay is passed by the Additional Collector on 14.1.2020.

The Additional Collector is directed to hear the appeal on 24th February, 2020 at 12.00 noon and pass his speaking order. All parties along with the occupant of the premises shall appear before the Additional Collector on 24th February, 2020 at 12.00 noon. All contentions of parties are kept open. A copy of this order shall be served by hand delivery on the Appellant and also on the Additional Collector. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. (B. P. COLABAWALLA, J.) ( S. J.
