Ms.Sakshi Maruti Sawant was a minor at the time when this Court passed an order dated 9 January 2014 appointing the petitioner Ms.Mangala Maruti Kadam as a guardian of the applicant alongwith her Sister Rupal Maruti Sawant.

The mother of the applicant Smt.Anuradha Maruti Sawant was having two Life Insurance Policies, the details of which are set out in paragraph (5) of the above guardian petition. As per the order dated 9 January 2014 passed by this Court, the amount of the Life Insurance Policies were directed to be deposited with this Court. By the present application Ms.Sakshi Maruti Sawant who has now turned major on 23
pvr 901-jo-190-19 January 2019, is before the Court praying that the amount which stands deposited in this Court, the details of which are set out in the Chamber/ Judge's Order, be permitted to be withdrawn by her. The amounts are lying in a fixed deposit with the Andhra Bank, Fort Branch, Mumbai, as also there is a cash balance.

Having considered the submissions as made by the learned Counsel for the applicant and having perused the affidavit in support of the Judges Order, in my opinion, the applicant ought to be permitted to withdraw the said amount and the amounts are required to be disbursed to the applicant.

Accordingly, the Judge's order is granted as prayed for, which is separately signed.
