Perused the only substantive prayer. We fail to understand as to why substantive right claimed by the petitioner in the subject property can be affected by making entries of names in the assessment record. After all, the assessment record is maintained only for fiscal purposes. Hence, there is no reason to entertain this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Notwithstanding the entries made in assessment Register, issue of title remains open. The petition is disposed of.
