The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a male minor, Dritan. He was born on 27th December 2017. His biological parents surrendered him to the Child Welfare Committee, Mumbai City II on 29th December 2017. He was then given in the custody of the Applicant institution.

The Child Welfare Committee has, since then, and after following the necessary procedure, declared him legally free for adoption. Mr Kapoor tenders a compilation which contains the
order dated 16th July 2018. This is taken on record and marked "X" for identification with today's date.

The adoptive parents are from Ahmednagar. They are aged 36 and 39 years old respectively. They have been married for 13 years but have no children of their own.

A motivation letter of the adoptive parents, the decision of the Adoption Committee, and the Affidavit of the Applicant's Chief Functionary are all on record.

The health reports of the parents and the minor are normal. 6.
The adoptive father is self-employed and runs a computer institute in Ahmednagar. His income for the assessment year 20182019 is Rs.4,70,808/-. The adoptive mother is self employed and works and runs an interior design consultancy. Her income for the assessment year 2018-2019 is Rs.4,44,365/-. The financial documents are on record. The home site visit is positive and recommends the adoption.

There is a child security undertaking given by the sister and brother-in-law of the prospective adoptive father. 8.
Since all the documents are in order, I will allow the Petition.

I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare which is on record.
10. Having regard to these circumstances, I will allow the Petition. The Judge's Order is separately signed.
11. The Registry will get the Petition with all its annexures and all orders, including the signed Judge's Order, scanned. These digital copies are to be preserved. A soft copy may be given to the Advocate for the Petitioner free of cost on a pen drive provided by the Advocate for the Petitioner for the same. The Registry will ensure that the scan of the Judge's Order is a properly calibrated colour scan.
