The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a female minor, Suchita. She was born on 22nd November 2017. Her biological mother surrendered her to the Child Welfare Committee, Mumbai Suburban District on 8th December 2017. She was then given in the custody of the Applicant institution. 2.

The CWC has, since then, and after following the necessary procedure, declared Suchita legally free for adoption.

The prospective adoptive parents reside in Bangalore. They are aged 45 and 37 years old respectively. They have been married for the last 14 years. They have no biological children of their own. 4.

A motivation letter of the adoptive parents, the decision of the Adoption Committee, and the Affidavit of the Applicant's Chief Functionary are all on record.

The health reports of the parents and the minor are normal. 6.

The adoptive father works as the Vice President with the Private Limited Company in Bangalore with a monthly net salary of Rs.2,78,050/-. The adoptive mother is a home maker. The financial documents are in order.

The assessment report of the Social Worker recommends the adoption and is entirely positive.

There is also a guardianship undertaking by the adoptive mother's sister who lives in Bangalore as well. 9.

The other documents are in order. I will therefore allow the Petition.

10. I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare which is on record.

11. Having regard to these circumstances, I will allow the Petition. The Judge's Order is separately signed.

12. The Registry will get the Petition with all its annexures and all orders, including the signed Judge's Order, scanned. These digital copies are to be preserved. A soft copy may be given to the Advocate for the Petitioner free of cost on a pen drive provided by the Advocate for the Petitioner for the same. The Registry will ensure that the scan of the Judge's Order is a properly calibrated colour scan.
