In Writ Petition No.2592 of 2013 and connected matters challenging the constitutional validity of the amendments made in the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, 1881 regarding levying of property tax and rules therein, this Court (Coram : A.S.Oka & Riyaz I Chagla, JJ.) by its judgment dated 24th April, 2019 has interalia decided the issue pertaining to the rules for fixation of capital value of lands and buildings. Since the issue in the above Writ Petition also pertains to fixation of capital value of land/building, the learned Advocate appearing for the Petitioner seeks to withdraw the same.
