This is a petition filed under section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short "the Act") whereby the petitioners have prayed for extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal for a period of six months. The mandate is stated to have expired on 1 June, 2022. The stage of the arbitral proceedings is of the parties recording their respective evidence.

Learned counsel for the respondents does not have any objection for the extension of mandate of the arbitral tribunal. 3.

The mandate of the arbitral tribunal is accordingly extended for a period of six months from 1 June, 2020. Ordered accordingly. 4.

Learned counsel for the respondent at this stage states that Vakalatnama on behalf of the respondent will be filed within one week from today. Statement is accepted 5.

Disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
