Heard Mr. Jain, learned Counsel for the Petitioner. By this Petition, the Petitioner has prayed for permission to open locker No.237 in Central Bank of India, Bandra (W), Mumbai.

Mr. Jain submitted that the Petitioner has instituted Petition No.2205 of 2016 for Letters of Administration that Will alleged to the properties and credits of Mrudula Gulabdas Rajani (hereinafter referred to as 'deceased'). That deceased died on 13th October 2014 by leaving behind a Will dated 24th February 2011. The deceased left behind her to 14th August 2017

15-JO70-17.DOC sister-in-laws namely (i) Sharda B. Rajani and (ii) Geeta L. Rajani, one niece namely Bharti Mahesh Gathia, and one nephew Rajesh Bhailal Rajani, as her legal heirs and next kin under the Hindu Succession Act, 1956. All the legal heirs and next kin above named have filed their respective Affidavits with signature dated 2nd September 2016 and 24th March 2017 respectively and the same are annexed to the Petition for grant of Letters of Administration. The properties and credits of the deceased are set out in Schedule-I annexed. He therefore submitted that it is necessary to take inventory of the contents of the locker.

He therefore submitted that appropriate directions may be issued permitting the Petitioner to open the locker and to take inventory of the present locker in the presence of Officer of the Bank, Officer of this Court and Petitioner and Counsel for the Petitioner and authorised valuer. The Petitioner has undertaken to pay all the necessary charges for opening the said locker and charges of valuation report. In view thereof I hereby appoint Mr R.V. Tawade, Associate of this Court as Officer of this Court.
