Through this petition, the petitioner is seeking direction to respondent no. 2 to consider and take appropriate decision on the petitioner's proposal/application dated 17.1.2015 Exhibit.C-1. 3.
According to the petitioner, the said proposal/application was considered by respondent no. 2 but instead of taking decision at its own, after making some comments on the said proposal/application, the matter was referred by the respondent no. 2 to the State Government.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in reply to
hvn 904-wp-2331.2017 the letter dated 18.12.2015 sent by the respondent no.2 SRA to the State Government, the State Government vide its letter dated 15.02.2016 has directed the respondent no.2 to decide the petitioner's application at its own as according to the State Government, the decision is required to be taken by respondent no. 2 as it is within its jurisdiction to take appropriate decision under section 3C of the Slums Act.

Learned counsel for respondent no.2 on instructions submits that appropriate decision in accordance with law shall be taken by respondent no.2 in regard to the petitioner''s application/proposal as expeditiously as possible. 6.
Keeping in view the aforesaid, we dispose of this petition by directing the respondent no.2 to decide the petitioner's application/proposal dated 17.1.2015 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
