The learned Counsel for the respondent No. 6 in writ petition No. 2476 of 2015 and the respondent No. 5 in writ petition (L) No. 1760 of 2017 states that inadvertently, costs of Rs. 2,00,000/- could not be deposited with the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority as per the directions in the judgment and order dated 19 July 2017. It is stated that the demand draft for the said amount is ready with the respondent No. 6 and respondent No. 5 respectively in the aforesaid writ petitions and they are willing to deposit the amount in the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority immediately. A 2/3
prayer is made for extending the time to deposit the amount. Since the prayer is formal and since the aforesaid respondents are desirous of depositing the said amount with the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority immediately, we permit the respondent No. 6 and respondent No. 5 respectively to deposit the amount till Monday i.e. 9 October 2017. In view of the aforesaid order, the learned Counsel for the respondent No. 6 in writ petition No. 2476 of 2015 and the respondent No. 5 in writ petition (L) No. 1760 of 2017 seeks permission to withdraw the two notices of motion and one chamber summons that are lodged. Permission is granted. The notices of motion and the chamber summons are disposed of as withdrawn.
