The Petitioner has challenged the order of assessment passed under the Electricity Act, 2003. 2.

The Petitioner has remained present before the learned Single Judge when this matter was placed before him. But thereafter, we have found that except on the last occasion on 8 October 2015, the Petitioner has not bothered to argue the petition. On the last occasion, the grievance made was that an appeal was preferred under Section 127 of the Electricity Act, 2003 but the same has not been decided as yet. The petition was placed today so as to enable the Petitioner to serve the office of Government Pleader, High Court, Bombay.

We have not been shown any record of any pending appeal either.

Both the Petitioner and its Advocate are absent. We have no other alternative but to dismiss the petition for want of prosecution.
