The prospective adoptive parents are both Indian citizens. They are aged 45 and 46 years respectively. They have been married since 2008, but do not have any biological children. The minor is now 6 years of age and is presently said to be in foster care with the prospective adoptive parents. 2.

Income records are found to be in order and so are the medical reports of both the prospective adoptive parents. The Home Study Report is also found to be acceptable. The medical reports of the prospective adoptive parents and the child are also found to be acceptable. The grand-mother of the prospective adoptive child has agreed to execute an undertaking to look after the child. The undertaking is in English but the signature of the deponent is in vernacular, however there is a separate undertaking executed by the brother-in-law of the prospective adoptive father and that is found to be satisfactory.
