P.C. :- Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned Counsel appearing for the Respondents. It is not in dispute that the decision on the issue of eligibility for allotment of alternate accommodation to the Petitioner in lieu of his shop premises is not yet taken.

The learned Counsel for the Respondents states that necessary information has been sought from BEST Undertaking as well as from another department of the Municipal Corporation. 3.

The decision on the issue of eligibility has been considerably delayed. The Municipal Corporation will have to decide the same at the earliest.

Hence, we dispose of the Petition by passing the following order :- (i) We direct the Respondents to decide the issue of eligibility of the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of six weeks from the date on which this order is uploaded.

(ii) We make it clear that we have made no adjudication on merits.
