Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents have raised a preliminary objection regarding the maintainability

2/2 21-pil.63.2013.doc of this PIL, firstly on the ground that the petitioner is not competent to file a PIL since several complaints are registered against the petitioner. A list of complaints are referred to at page 135 in the affidavit in reply filed by the petitioner. Secondly, it is submitted that the PIL is in respect of a SRA scheme which is on a private land and therefore there is no public interest involved.

The Petition is, therefore, dismissed.
