The Petitioner seeks a Legal Heirship Certificate under Section 2 of Bombay Regulation VIII of 1827 in respect of one Maharani Bholaprasad Valmiki, who is said to have died intestate in Mumbai, where she was ordinarily resident, on 9th October 2012. A copy of her death certificate is annexed. The Petitioner is the only surviving legal heir of the deceased.

During her lifetime, the deceased owned and was in possession of Room No. H-23, Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, Plot No. 267, 16th September 2016

23-MPT95-16.DOC General A.K. Vaidya Marg, Malad (East), Mumbai 400 097 which is now part of Sanjay Gandhi Nagar SRA Cooperative Housing Society Limited. The Legal Heirship Certificate is required for the purposes of production before the Slum Rehabilitation Authority. 4.

No other Petition for a Heirship Certificate, Succession Certificate, Probate or Letters of Administration with or without will annexed has been filed. There is no impediment to the grant of relief.

The Petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a) in favour of the Petitioner.
