Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner. Learned AGP has placed on record a letter dated 13th March, 2018 addressed to the learned Government Pleader by the Urban Development Department of the State Government. The said letter is taken on record and marked "L" for identification. The Pg 1 of 2

p.506.wp.3076.2017.doc letter records that the State Government will take a decision on the proposed modification submitted to it in accordance with sub-section (1-B) of Section 37 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 within a period of two months from today. We accept said statement. We, accordingly, direct the State Government to take final decision on the said proposal within a period of two months from today. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of by keeping open all the contentions on merits.
