When this petition was placed before us urgently, Mr.Sakhare, learned Senior Advocate appearing for the Petitioners states, on instructions, that the unit of MHADA namely Konkan Housing and Area Development Board has issued a notice dated 24 September 2015 to the two occupants in Flat Nos.1 and 2 respectively. MHADA/its unit is, therefore, taking requisite steps and to the satisfaction of the Petitioners.

In these circumstances and in view of the notice issued, Mr.Sakhare does not press this petition. It is disposed of accordingly as not pressed, with no order as to costs. All contentions on the legality and validity of the notices are kept open.
