The above Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner on 7 th August, 2019 inter alia for the following relief :- "(b) that this Court be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ and be pleased to direct the Respondents to allot Permanent Alternate Accommodation to the Petitioner in newly constructed building in lieu of old premises in old building.

"

After filing of the above petition, on 14 th November, 2019 1/2 1-wpl-2316-19.doc

the petitioner was given hearing by the Mumbai Building Repairs and Reconstruction Board, Mumbai and an order was passed on the same day holding that the petitioner is eligible for an alternate accommodation. The learned Advocate appearing for the MHADA states that they are not disputing that the petitioner is eligible for permanent alternate accommodation and they shall provide him with the same as per his entitlement in law. The statement is accepted. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
